It could burrow and chew!!! It seems like such a throwback to therapsids. Convergent evolution is so cool.

Archosaurs are my favorite!

When they mentioned chewing, it was in terms of jaw hinging, not tooth type. Curious. And is this a chewing carnivore, or a (presumably not exclusively) plant-eating crocodile? Either seems strange.

It almost looks like a puppy: "Beware of armadillosuchus"

Hilde Schwartz must be fairly excited about this. She was an archosaur person.

Archosaurs are the best saurs!

Well, contemporary crocs thrash around in the water to rip their prey into smaller pieces: if this is a predominantly land-dwelling croc, maybe the chewing served the same purpose?
