This Thought Is The Opposite of Deep
So I was thinking about Disney's Beauty and the Beast and how Belle says that she wants "adventure in the great wide somewhere" but then spends the majority of the film locked up in a castle.

But then if you think of it as a dungeon, then it's like she's Link, only she fell in love with the boss monster.

This depends. Do we know if any of the boss monsters attempted (adorably) to eat with a spoon to impress Link?

I must know this.

He never got that far because he didn't indulge in musical numbers with the dungeons' enchanted furniture, first.

HE HAS NEVER LEARNED ABOUT TRUE LOVE

WELL, MAYBE THEY WOULD SING WITH YOU, LINK, IF YOU'D STOP SMASHING THEM FOR TREASURE.

God, this is what you get when you slice first, ask questions later. No true love.

"Oh no," Link gasped, banging against the cellar door. Outside, he could hear Zelda rallying the villagers into a wrathful mob. "Don't!" He insisted. "Dodongo dislikes smoke!"

Somehow I never realized this connection. I feel you deserve an award for pointing this out.

I'd think after her misadventures in the woods playing with the wolves and Philipe that she'd be very happy to stay inside the castle walls with all the enchanted objects - not to mention the biggest library of books she ever saw. The books alone would keep her interest for...oh, say a few months at least.

Besides, she found no hookshot. Worst dungeon ever! ^_-

She did acquire the Awesome Gold Dress, though.

True, but she didn't leave with it. I guess it can only be used within the castle. ;) (Phantom Hourglass, anyone?)

That is so full of win XD I think I need to steal it for my personal expanded fairy tale 'verse. "Beautiful young treasure-hunter tries to steal the wrong treasure, ends up trapped in a decrepit dungeon/castle, eventually develops Stockholm Syndrome."

And if I were a man attempting to become an Italian con-man in Italy who had no knowledge of what Italian names sound like, I'd change my name to Dancio Sporghetini.

...

What?
